On March 18, British Columbia residents were encouraged to self isolate if they had been travelling or had COVID symptoms. Social distancing was encouraged. In Nelson BC, Lakeside Park became a popular destination to soak up spring sunshine. The gravity of what was to come had not yet impacted outdoor congregations.
