Empty Streets Not Empty Hearts

A night walk in downtown Overland Park, KS, (or OP as the residents say), where the streets are usually lined with cars on both sides, they are now empty. The street lights changing colors are a reminder that cars should be here. Instead, I’m standing in the middle of the road.
